My cloudy day

Friday,13 April 2007

Hi,
I like writing my blog more and more,every day.. especially after I study a new English grammar rule,I'm eager to use it in my blog.
I was studying the duration form with present,past and future tenses. I'd like to do an example :
I have had this new book for two weeks;
I had had that new book for two weeks when I lost it;
I will have had a new book for two weeks when I restart the university.

Well,I hope I haven't wrong!! would be too much!!

To be honest,today I'm not very well..in fact I'm not very will to study but I can relaxing writing.
This morning Beti and I got up early because we had to go to Kumon ( maths course) that Beti has followed for some months,but I don't know actually how long has she been following it.
So,we went there by bicycles.We left our house at 9 am and arrived there at 9.30 am,just half an hour. Unfortunately the weather has been bad today,the sky is covered with clouds now and maybe it will rain.
After Kumon I took Poppy to the garden,but I didn't go jogging this morning because I haven't been well since I got up.

Tomorrow Simon,Tash,Beti and I are going to Oxford just visiting,well I think that Simon,Tash and Beti know very well Oxford,and tomorrow they are collecting me because I have never been to Oxford,except a evening when Simon and I went there because Beti and Louis had to go climbing with scouts to Brook University's gym,so I saw Oxford quickly and just the outskirts of the city.

Do you remember when Mark's family came here? well,through that days,maybe Easter day,Mark and Simon went to Oxford to take some photos and when they came back I saw the photos they had taken and I was surprised to see it.Oxford must be a very big and color city!!
I'm eager to go there for this reason,because I like take photos and now is even more enjoyable because I've got Flickr program where I can put a lot of photo and write even a comment for each one..brilliant!

Since I had Flickr,my family can see every day all my photos. This has been a nice novelty for me!!

Now I'm going on the sofa watching tv with Beti,but tomorrow I will come back writing about my first impression on Oxford.

See you soon,
Anna Lisa.

Dear Anna Lisa,

Alan and I are looking forward very much to your visit to Liverpool! It will be lovely to see you again and I’m sure we will all have a wonderful time!! I’ve been very busy since I spoke to you on the telephone on Wednesday, so haven’t had a chance to comment on your blog entries, but here I am now to comment on your last three blogs.

Your English is improving every day. Your present, past and future tenses are all completely correct!! Well done!!

I hope you are now feeling better, after feeling not very well.

When you come to Liverpool, we can go out on our bicycles, because we have lots of bicycles.

I hope you enjoy your trip to Oxford and are able to take some good photos for your family to see.

There are some little mistakes in your blog. I hope this will help you:
How long she has been (not ‘has she’)
Simon, Tash and Beti know Oxford very well (not ‘know very well Oxford’)
Tomorrow they are taking me (not ‘collecting me’)
During those days (not ‘through that days’)
Big and colourful city (not ‘color’)

As I’ve said before, Anna Lisa, English is a very complicated language, and sometimes you may find it difficult to understand why we say things the way we do, but you are learning very well.

Best wishes,
Terri
