Oronzo & Giovanna's wedding

Hi friends,
Yesterday I wrote my blog page,telling you about wedding,but, as I have had still problems with my new wireless pc,it loged off while I was publishing the blog page..it was terrible in that I spent a-half-an-hour to write it.
Now I have to be most careful.
Anyway..
The wedding was on Tuesday 14 August at 5pm in the Catholic church of Carmine,very close to my house.
That morning I got up early,at 8 o'clock and my day started hardly because I did lots of housework and lots of things in place of my mum,who has still got the cast on her leg.
I spent the all morning preparing my house,decorating it with flowers etc..
During the morning the florist came twice,bringing Giovanna's bouquet and some other compositions of flowers.
Our tradition wants the mother-in-law brings the bouquet to the bride,but as my mum was injured,I had had this important task.
At about 1pm we four (dad,mum,Oronzo and I) had our last lunch as a family.
My mum and dad seemed worked up,while Oronzo was very calm and he told us he felt sure with himself.
As for me,I felt strange because I cannot believe that my brother was getting married just that afternoon!! It wasn't a bad sensation,but it was a strange sensation that only a sister can feel for her brother..
Haidy was calm too and she behaved as a very good girl,oddly :-) she felt that someting of new was happening and she looked at us with lovely eyes!! She use to do the guard of our house,so she use to bark when the entryphone rings and to sniff when a person come into my house,but that day she didn't.
At about 4pm I went to Giovanna's home to bring her the bouquet.
When I arrived there,she was posing and the photographer involved also me,so we two posed together for some photos.
One hour went by quickly and at about 5 pm we all moved to the church!!!
The atmosphere in the church was wonderful and it was full of friends! My brother was nice and he was close to the altar waiting for his bride.
Giovanna was very worked up while she walking towards the altar with her father.
The priest preached a very sincere sermon because he was Giovanna's religion teacher when she went to the high school,so they have known each other for a long time.
After the Mass we all went near the Castel of Conversano of taking photos and at about 7.30pm we went to the restaurant.
We had a very nice and elegant tea,near the swimming pool of the restaurant which was precisely lighted and decorated.
The wedding ended at about 4 am and we all were very tired.
We enjoied ourselves very much,we danced and laughed a lot !! The tea was delicious and contained several very good food!!
I'm trying to insert some photos about the wedding,just to introduce Oronzo and Giovanna to you.
The wedding was wonderful and full of emotions!!! We all came back at home very happy and now Oronzo and Giovanna are spending their honeymoon in Spain!!!

My name-day

Hi all!!
Today is my name-day : St. Anne!!
This evening Maurizio and I are spending the tea time with a couple of our friends,Domenico and Maria Pia with their doughters,Frida and Luisiana.
I'm sure it will be a very nice evening because we are going to a very beautyful Pizzeria below our Castel in Conversano where the atmosphere is magic!!
Yesterday morning I did the regional public exam about technical manager of travel company and I will know the results tomorrow then,if I pass this written exam I will do the oral exam and just then I'd be a technical manager of travel company,I hope so with all my heart!!!
Now are 17.59 and I'm waiting for 19.00 because I'm going to Carmela's home,she is a friend of mine. I have known her since we two were about 4 and we went to the crechè together.We live close to each other and we two attended the same school and the same classroom until our girlhood.
This morning I knew she is not very well at the moment so I need to go and visit her and to bring with me a very big hug and smile all for her!!
The most horrible thing is that her problem isn't phisical but mental..she is passing a very bad and sad period because she feels alone and she goes around with badly people that they persuade her to the bad... this morning a friends of mine said to me she is starting to have a very bad reputation and behaviour..
I have offered help to her lots of time,but Carmela refused it because she said to be fine..but now I'm sure that it isn't like she affirmed few days ago.
I'm trying to be very strong about this not very nice situation,and I promise to her I will do all possible to help her!!!

My mum's birthday

Hi all!!
Yesterday evening was my mum's birthday and we decided to have tea all together at my brother's house,actually in the garden.
We were about fifteen people amidst friends and relatives.
We ate Panzerotti,they are a typical Italian food and they are made with the same dough of Pizza but the form change because Panzerotti are closed on itself like a sandwich,and stuffed with everything you like,but each Panzerotto need to have mozzarella and tomato,so after you can add tuna,ham,salame(another typical Italian food)etc..
You can cook them fried or baked and I assure that you won't repent!!
We had a nice time and we finished at about 1am.
My mum looked happy and serene with friends and relatives and I was happy for her!!

Hi !!!
I wrote my blog three days ago and I remember very well I promised you I would have written my blog frequently,so...I'm doing it now because I'd like to update you about my life,if you like
:-)
I was studing English for my next exam just five minutes ago,but now I'm tired to study and I want dedicate time to myself,to relax and to play with my dog,Haidy.
Yesterday evening I went to the beach for tea time with my friends and I had a swim in the sunset,it was very nice and my heart felt so soft and joyful,the water of the sea was calm and not very cold and the sky had a very beautyful shade of colours!
We had a nice tea and a nice time all together.We sat around the fire eating grilled and fried fishes that two friends of mine fished the day before yesterday whit our boat called Gina.
Now I'd like to have a snack,so I'm going to eat a piece of a good cake that it was done by Giovanna,she is a friends of my family.
Tomorrow morning I'm going to Canosa in Puglia,this city is one hour far away from Bari and I'm going there because I'm going to do the community service and tomorrow there will be the selection.
I will be the community service at the local tourist office in Conversano and I'm very happy because I will have the opportunity to speak English and Spanish languages.
I'll write to you soon,just to inform you about the selection.

Hi friends,it is nice to hear from you again!! I wrote my last blog on 5 July..it's a shame!!
The life hasn't been the same since I come back from England..my English is weakening day after day and I feel not very sure of myself anymore..
Some months ago I thought in English and I felt as I had the English language in my hands,in my head,but now it is different..when I want to speak English,I need to think a lot and force my memory several times..I'm worring about this because I worked hard when I was in UK and now I'd like to keep up with my English!!
I'm forgetting everything I studied two months ago,because in Italy none speaks English and it is a big shame!!
Today I have decided to write my blog again,because I was neglecting the duty I got in UK and it isn't right,so here I am!!
I'm preparing an exam that it is external to the university. It regards to a competitive examination to become a technical manager of travel agency and the exam is on 25 July,so I have been studying a lot at the moment and I haven't time to study English every day.
My next English exam,at the university,in on 5 September and I'm a little anxious about it,because it is say to be a very difficult and selective English oral axam and I think to be not so clever any more..just for this reason I need to restart writing and listening to the tv and..why not,reading books and vocabulary as I used to do before!
I was forgetting the magic power of the writing..I was so sad before to start this blog page,but now..not more :-) good!!

Hi all,
I haven't writing very often,like some months ago,at the moment! It seems I've left my beloved blog quite alone..I know,but I'm so busy here with the university that I haven't time to write it every day like I used to do when I was in England.
I'd like to go to England again,maybe in October or November,who knows..
I haven't speaking English at all here in Italy :-(
and I feel like I miss speaking in English and I miss to spent time with English people!
Anyway..yesterday I went to the last marriage but one and it was very elegant and calm.Maurizio and I had a nice time there and I knew some people that Maurizio introduced to me,because the marriage was of one of Maurizio's employees.
Now I'm going to have lunch,
