Hi !! How I promised you yesterday, I'm telling you about Blenheim Palace this night.
This morning I got up at half past eight and I found the house desolated because Beti was still sleeping and Simon went out with Poppy.
At half past ten,we went to the shop to buy a barbecue then we went in direction of Bicester's station because there arrived Ross and Jane. Ross is one of Simon's friends and he and his wife are American,they come from Siattle.
After we picked they up from the station,all together went toward Blenheim Palace!!
When we arrived there,first visited the butterfly house,a fantastic place where there are protected butterflies and birds,this place is like a glasshouse and inside is very hot because its need to reproduce a tropical climate.
After we went in direction of maze made with hedge and we enjoyed ourselves because was difficult to find the exit,so we spent an hour there.
The time flied..so we decided to went back to the car and take some food that we took on from home before we left.We had a lunch on the grass,well,we had a pic-nic.
After lunch we went in the Palace and we spent three hours to visit it.I'm not able to describe what I saw because my eyes and my mind were full of colors and history..I love history because it make me dream!
The last place that we visited was the Secret Garden,a very beautiful garden with varied kind of tree,flower and plants,so you can imagine the mix of colors and harmony in there,not to mention of wonderful river and bridge that gave a special atmosphere into the garden..simply fantastic!
At five o'clock we went in a book shop and gift shop before to came back home.
When we arrived at home we had a dinner with Tash who was arrived from South Africa and we had a barbecue,very nice supper! I have never made a barbecue before tonight.
I forgot to add that today has been a very warm day,the sky was limpid and the weather was hot,a really spring day!!
Are coming Mark and Nicla tomorrow and they will stay for three days with us,so I think I will have a lot of think to write during the next days.
Now,I'm very tired and to be honest I have a light legs pain because of I have walked all day.
