Hi friends!!
did you miss me? :-) I've spent a Fantastic week end with Terri,Alan,Sandy(the dog)and Bob(the cat) in Liverpool !!
I have never laughed a lot for two days uninterruptedly in my life!!!
Terri and Alan are a very young couple, they took me to the beach by bicycles, around Liverpool in very nice mini cooper car(James'car) and we laughed a lot all week end!!
Friday evening, the day I arrived, they took me in an Italian restaurant in which we met a nice Italian waiter who recommended us some fresh food, like trout and lamb. That evening Maurizio's sheep/ship story bore!!
Alan,Terri and I carried on laughing until the two following days !! We have had a fanny week end!
During those day I hadn't have any problem to fall asleep when I went to bed, because I drank half a litre of Italian red wine with Alan during our suppers,Friday and Saturday evenings,so..it has been fantastic!!
Saturday morning we went to the Protestant and Catholic cathedrals in the center of Liverpool and I have been very struck by beauty and energy of Catholic cathedral,it has a circularity form and it is very colourful because of coloured windows' glasses which give a gorgeous atmosphere in the church.
The Catholic cathedral made a good impression on me because it is full of references, for example,in the middle of the church there is a very big structure suspended from the ceiling which remember the Jesus' crown of thorns and for whole circularity of the cathedral the windows' glasses are blue coloured but scattered there are a little glasses red coloured which remember the blood of Jesus causes by crown of thorns..I haven't words to explain the energy and beauty of the Liverpool Catholic cathedral.
After,we went to Beatles museum, but unfortunately it had been just closed for few minutes,so we decided to visited just the Beatles story shop.
Saturday evening we went to another very nice restaurant in the center of Liverpool and Thom, the younger son of Terri and Alan, came with us.We enjoyed ourselves a lot during that supper too!! We talked about everything and the time flew quickly..
Sunday morning Terri,Alan and I went to the church, near them house, and Terri and Alan introduced me to some friends of them and to the parish priest of the church, who speaks Italian! He is a very calm person and speaks a good Italian! We had a serene Mass and after we went back house and had lunch.
After lunch we stayed few time chatting because I had to prepare my bag in that I had to take the coach at 4pm from Crewe and it is an hour far away from Liverpool,so we had to leave Liverpool at 2:45pm.
I have a lot of thing to tell you in this blog page, but I won't do it because I've written enough, but every memory will stay in my heart for ever!!
TANK YOU TERRI & ALAN
See you soon!!!
Anna Lisa.

Dear Anna Lisa,
Well done! You’ve described everything we did very well. There are only a few little alterations that I would suggest.
Beautiful (you missed out the ‘a’)
Weekend is one word, not two
Recommend to us
Maurizio’s sheep/ship story was born
Carried on laughing for (not ‘until’) the two
Funny (not ‘fanny’)
I didn’t (not ‘hadn’t) have any problems falling (not ‘to fall’) asleep
It has a circular (not ‘circularity’) form
(We call the coloured glass windows ‘stained glass windows’)
Which represents (not ‘remember’) the crown of thorns of Jesus
Near their (not ‘them’) house
Some friends of theirs (not ‘them’)
After we went back home (not ‘house’)
I hope this is helpful.
Alan & I are very pleased that you enjoyed your weekend so much. We enjoyed it very much too. Thom said he tried to get home in time to say goodbye to you, but by the time he arrived home we had just left.
Best wishes,
Terri
